Tereza Mytakou is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics in the School of English, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics and an MPhil with Distinction in English Language Teaching from Trinity College Dublin, as well as a BA cum laude in English Language and Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Her PhD research, for which she received the Irish Association of Applied Linguistics Award in 2020, explored the use of feminist pedagogy in refugee language education on the island of Leros, Greece. Tereza has taught and coordinated postgraduate courses on Inclusive Education at Trinity College Dublin, as well as Mary Immaculate College, Limerick in Ireland. Her research interests revolve around intercultural education, refugee education, feminist pedagogy, and reflexivity.
Nikos Arzoumanidis is a graduate of the Department of Plastic Arts and Art Sciences of the University of Ioannina in Greece. He completed the Master’s degree “Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching in Intercultural Environments” at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bulgaria, during which he wrote his postgraduate thesis on the decisive role of Art in intercultural education. He has attended the film seminars “Filmschool.gr: Directing Seminars”, “Cinema Practices” and “Writings of Pier Paolo Pasolini and Sergei Eisenstein.” He has participated in painting and sculpture exhibitions, as well as film festivals as a director across Greece. He has been working as an Art Teacher in Primary Education since 2020.
Petros Gourgouris is an Environment Artist with a background in philosophy, photography, and a deep love for visual storytelling. I started my career in film and TV production, working on shows for HBO, Hulu, FX, and Disney+. During the 2019 lockdown, I pivoted to 3D art through self-teaching and an intensive bootcamp at Vertex School. Since then, I’ve worked as an Associate Environment Artist on Call of Duty: Warzone (Activision), and I’m currently an Environment Artist at Krafton, contributing to the world of PUBG. I’m passionate about building immersive spaces that feel alive; whether it’s war-torn cities, sci-fi landscapes, or grounded natural environments.
Chloe Tsolakoglou is a poet, translator, and PhD Candidate in English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. Her academic work focuses on post-1945 global literature. Her interests include: Theories of Revolution, Marxism and Anarchism, Critical Theory, Psychoanalysis, and Queer Theory. She is currently focusing on queer literature that was written during and after the May 68 protests, with specific emphasis on works by Greek authors. Her poems and translations have been featured in The Adroit Journal, Denver Quarterly, The Chicago Review, and elsewhere. Additionally, her translation of Marios Chakkas' The Commune is available through Inpatient Press and MIT Press
Evangelos (Vangelis) Vaiannis holds a master’s degree in Sociology from Columbia University, supported by scholarships from the Union of Greek Shipowners, the Attica Tradition Educational Foundation, and Columbia University. Prior to that, he graduated as the top-ranked student from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, earning the Academic Excellence Award from the Greek Ministry of Education and the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). His research interests lie at the intersection of Science and Technology Studies, Cultural Sociology, and the Sociology of Expertise.
